The Sabal Story

What's in a name? Well, when it’s our name, a lot.

Why Sabal?

If you’re not from the Carolinas, you’re probably unfamiliar with all of the native palm trees found in the South. One tree is a treasured icon because of its role in the first victory of the American Revolution. Trunks of the Sabal palmetto tree were used to build two sides of Fort Moultrie. These resilient trees withstood nine hours of cannon fire, leading to the Colonial’s victory over the British.

Found along the coast, these hardy palms are drought-resistant, durable, and bend without breaking. Like our namesake, Sabal Strategy represents the best of the South. Our name honors builders who use local knowledge and resources to create something that can withstand the tests of time. As a forward-looking company, we don’t simply rely on general knowledge but seek to dig deeper to deliver the strongest data possible. We value the power of accurate information because we know the real cost of bad data.

Why Sabal Strategy?

Transitioning from Sabal Group to Sabal Strategy was a thoughtful and deliberate process. We considered new names, new variations, or names tied to Maribeth, our CEO and President. We chose to retain Sabal to pay homage to our past. We chose Sabal Strategy to recognize that what we do is more than simply compiling data lists. Our entire process is rooted in making strategic decisions to develop a list that meets each individual client’s needs.

If your community or organization needs more qualified and motivated leads, we hope you’ll turn to Sabal Strategy and reach out to Maribeth. As your data partner, you’ll find that by relying on our data expertise, your sales team can stay focused on closing the deal instead of worrying about finding qualified leads.

And the next time you’re at a beach in the Carolinas, keep an eye out for a Sabal palmetto tree (pronounced say-BULL) or our CEO. Maribeth loves the beach as much as she loves data!
