Thank You 2025, and Welcome 2026

We're celebrating our successes and strategy for 2026!

It’s been quite a year for Sabal Strategy! Before I peer into my crystal ball for glimpses of what 2026 might hold, I’d like to highlight and celebrate our winning strategies of the past year. 

New Faces & New Friends

The addition of two new Sabal Strategy team members has been an absolute blast. Angela Hamilton joined us last spring, assuming the role of Principal Strategy Officer. She’s coaching, creating smart strategies, brainstorming, and delivering the right data so our clients see stellar results. We’re going to be announcing an exciting new case study very soon for one of her clients. A smarter strategy helped them exceed what appeared to be tough new goals for each month. Naturally, she aced that test!

Last fall, we welcomed Natalie Groeger as our Principal Transformational Officer. If you know Natalie, you know her first love (aside from her family) is digging deep into data of every type and form. Need a hand with taming your CRM so it actually helps instead of being a pain point for your team? Natalie’s superpower is finding lost treasure in CRMs that most consider a headache. Have you read our case study about what she and the McLean team accomplished?

This year we had the opportunity to highlight the work of three incredible individuals: Steve Godwin of AMP Analytics, Kiera Deschamps of KD Consulting Group, and Anna Hall of JoyFuel and Front Porch Communities and Services. Each is an advocate for the best in senior living. Meeting and sharing their stories was a favorite part of my year.

Stepping Up & Out

Angela, Natalie, and I had the privilege of attending a number of conferences this year. LeadingAge Boston gave us the opportunity to catch up with old friends and meet new ones. So much of our work is done via email, Zoom, and with telephone calls. Being in the same room with you makes our collaborations more powerful.

I’ve been known to say a time or three that you’re only as good as the data you use. And since the launch of Sabal Strategy, being transparent as possible about our results is a given. So we’re thrilled to share how McLean’s expansion campaign excelled because it reached the right audience.  

New Strategies

As I look ahead to 2026, I hope we’ll have a chance to see you at one of the conferences that are on our calendar. Showing up and sharing actual results is just one way we can help you achieve your goals.

I’m also looking forward to following Angela’s advice. When you’re at the head-banging-on-the-wall stage over how to rev up a stale campaign, you need a strategic consortium to help you find answers. Self-care is a must have. And a strategic consortium is self-care for marketing and sales leaders.  

The Gift of Time

Last July 4th, we posted about Marquette University’s Gift of Time benefit for their employees. It’s an official week off so they can relax, recharge, and rejuvenate. It’s also a smart strategy. I hope you give yourself a gift of time, even if your employer doesn’t offer one. We all need time to be, time to take a cruise, or time to pursue one of your dreams. Time is a thief, and this is one way to take a little back.

We have 12 shiny new months ahead of us, filled with possibilities. My crystal ball can’t predict what’s coming our way. But with a terrific team, I know we’ll be ready to meet the challenges and celebrate the successes ahead of us, and I hope you do the same. Thank you for being a part of Sabal Strategy.
